Paper wings was the second Red Bull website I contributed to. The first being Futur/io, in which I constructed a Front-End framework for future Red Bull events websites. This was done in conjunction with the Back-End developers at Koffeecup, who built a custom CMS to power the platform.
The project consisted of building a Front-End that marketed the event, as well as administering sign-ups for both event administrators and entries. In the second phase of the launch, this extended to administering the events themselves, keeping track of all the competition data, displaying it on the websites and at the event itself.
We achieved this by creating endpoints on the Back-End, which served as a data source for Vue JS to keep track of the state, before updating any components with the latest available data.
